Google have started dishing out a completely redesign version of Playstore
A completely redesigned version of Playstore has started
hitting devices. The new design was first tipped earlier this month and Google
have finally started rolling it out for Android users. The new Playstore is
pretty much different from what you use to know. The digital front of the new
Playstore is divided in to two main sections. The first one is for games &
apps and the second tab is for entertainment. Beneath the two main categories
are menus that take you to more specific subsections of the store.
The entertainment category is made up of stuff like Movies
& TV, Music, Books and Newsstand, while the Apps & Games tab has
separate sections for top charts, games, family and oriented contents.
The new Playstore is not an update you can install manually
because Google need to switch the server side before you can see the changes.
If you haven't seen any changes yet, just be patient as the
process is gradual.
For the meantime, here are some screenshots of the new look.
