Here is what you need to know about the New BlackBerry Priv Android Device

BlackBerry Priv

BlackBerry has launched pre-order of their new Android device in the US, Canada and the UK ahead of its launch next month. In case you are not aware, BlackBerry is launching a new Flagship device called BlackBerry Priv that runs on Android OS. Just when we thought BlackBerry is going the dinosaur way, then here comes this big surprise.  With the lauch of this device, it does look like the future of BlackBerry is getting brighter than we expect. Seriously, I can’t wait to lay my hand on this device.

The Priv is definitely one of the most innovative smartphones of the year. It's like an Android-equipped version of the BlackBerry Torch. There's been a lot of rumour and speculation surrounding this device in recent weeks, but everything is open now, so you can actually order one.

Featuring a dual-curved display like the Galaxy S6 Edge and a hardware keyboard, the Priv – which is priced slightly lower than expected – will cost $699 in the USA, $899 in Canada and £559 in the UK, which puts it on par with other flagship devices. Now when you convert this to Naira you get something like N139,000+ ( One hundred and thirty nine naira plus). Did I hear you say enough to buy a plot of land? OK may be, but it actually worth the price going by its mouthwatering specs and the usual dedicated security features of BlackBerry.
